In almost 5 years of watching Chimpanzees at TAMA Zoo, I NEVER remember Mama Momoko coming to the Aid or Defense of Fubuki! NOT ONCE! Fubuki neither Needed her Help or Wanted it! Only thing that Chimp needed his Mama for since he was 2 years old is the occasional Power Drink of Mothers Milk! That's It! DECKY Raised Fubuki more than ANY Chimp! But the entire group plays part in teaching a young Chimp the rules and regulations to maintain a peaceful, non combative stress free group gatherings! Chimp Society is Simple, yet very Complex with all the Subtle Gestures and even Looks that convey Exactly what they want, or expect from the others! Add to that their Vocalizations of Screams, Hoots and Pants and you can actually start to Understand Chimp Language after Observing them awhile! 🙂 I can pretty much tell now just about what's Happening in and among the group without even looking at the Comments posted! These Chimps have become very important to me! I watch them as often as I can. I ponder them throughout the day, and I even have dreams of them sometimes! Its become a Passion of mine to enjoy these Beloved Chimps of TAMA ZOO! Ibuki was Plotting and Planning to Pester Marina from the start of the video. He held back until Fubuki left the area. Marina only grabbed his shoulder in warning and the Lil PUSS Ibuki started Screaming his Ass Off for Mama! 🙂Max most times wants Nothing to do with Ibuki, his son. If you watch closely you'll see Max usually "Wave him Away" with a hand swipe as he approaches. Ibuki isn't HALF the Chimp Fubuki was at 2 years old! 🙂 They're ALL Unique and Individuals in their Personality and Actions! JUST LIKE HUMANS ARE! 🙂
Well stated! This is my favorite chimpanzee troop. Their personalities are wonderful to watch. I'm particularly proud of Decky being integrated into this troop after living as a pet.

Dill is a boy, Shimji girl, both Deckys, and Plum and Ibuki are girl and boy, both are Max's
